A fungus again. It is, however, the season for it. I was told that an Orange Peel Fungus (Aleuria aurantia) could be found at a cemetery in Groningen. According to a picture by the guy who discovered the fungus, its diameter should be about 4 inches. However, I only detected three half inch pieces. Close to those a 4x4 inch sod was cut out of the grass.
I took this picture using a 90mm macro lens and 3 extension tubes.
